A former Shire of the Kingdom of the Rising Winds, now a Barony.

Cursed Prairie was reincarnated by Maggie O'Conner & Shinsei in 2006.

Due to constant problems we've decided to permanently move our park to Fondulac Farm Park.
Park: Fondulac Farm Park, 305 Neumann Dr. East Peoria, IL 61611 - Sundays @ 1pm
We generally meet in the back of the park near the woods. You should be able to spot us, we're the only ones out there swinging foam.
Arts & Sciences: Roshi & Saphira's home - Saturdays @ 6pm

Before it's current incarnation it was attempted twice in other places. Once in Bloomington, IL & another in Pekin, IL. In theory, the old records from before the park's collapse years ago still exist somewhere, but nobody is sure where they are.

As of November 2007 Cursed Prairie is a Barony. Former residents of Forsaken Lakes have started to migrate to Cursed Prairie as well, so far claiming at least Tenshi, Sraw, Sir Liam Mc'Oi, Syrus, THOC, T-FOC, Ronin,Shinsei & Kaio.

Cursed Prairie is home to 2 households in Amtgard.
The Order of the Dying Light: A small household based on the principles of fighting & training with reach weapons.
&
House Misty Hollow: A growing household for the outcasts of Amtgard. Mercenaries, thieves, fey-folk alike, all are welcome here.

Cursed Prairie also has members in fighting companies including Black Heaven, Crimson Marauders, Dagger of the Silvermoon, Free Companies, & Saracens - Tribe Hellfire.
