a Kingdom of the Society for Creative Anachronism. The region that makes up Calontir covers most of Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri and a touch of Arkansas (Fayetteville).

This is the kingdom that hosts Lilies War. The Lilies War is Calontir's way to show the Known World that wars can be fun. It is traditionally held during the second full week in June. The site for the last several years has been Kelsey Short Youth Camp at Smithville Lake, Missouri. This is about 30 minutes north of downtown Kansas City (and even closer to the KC airport). The site features open fields, separated by wooded areas and is nearly surrounded by a swimming lake that never closes. Come join us for a week of battles, tournaments, classes, archery, medieval games, shopping, and nights of singing, dancing and reveling
